L2M: Refs missed Rubio's foul on Curry in last minute of Wolves' win

Jesse Johnson-USA TODAY Sports

The Golden State Warriors are in a funk of sorts, and Friday's loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves wasn't without its share of question marks.

Adding insult to injury, the NBA's last-two-minute report for Saturday cited the officials' failure to call Wolves point guard Ricky Rubio for a loose-ball foul on Stephen Curry during a scramble with less than 52 seconds left in the game and Minnesota up by one.

While the Warriors briefly retook the lead on a Curry teardrop, Minnesota went ahead for good after Zaza Pachulia's foul put Andrew Wiggins at the line for two game-winning free throws.

Curry also had another subpar shooting night, going just 1-for-8 from beyond the arc. He is now shooting under 22 percent from deep over his last seven games, a big part of a broader failure by the Warriors in losses. The team as a whole is just 27-for-112 from downtown across its last four defeats.
