Bucks' Greg Monroe: Posts 18 off the bench in victory

Monroe posted 18 points (6-7 FG, 6-7 FT), seven rebounds, two assists, one steal and a block across 27 minutes in Friday's 99-85 win over the Pacers.

Analysis:

Since Jabari Parker (knee) went down for the season, the ever-confounding coach Jason Kidd has employed a wide variety of looks in his starting five. Going small by shifting Antetokounmpo to the 4 and using a combo of Thon Maker and John Henson at center has been one of the most frequent schemes, but inevitably Monroe has found his way into the rotation and gotten his share of minutes off the bench, routinely boasting respectable stat lines in a reserve role. Coach Kidd can be a bit frustrating for fantasy owners as his frontcourt's usage has varied wildly since the loss of Parker, so it is tough to depend on Monroe to produce on a regular basis. He can be a good source of rebounds when his usage is over his average (currently 22.4 minutes), but expectations must be tempered due to Monroe's current situation.
