Nuggets' Danilo Gallinari: Expected to play Friday

Coach Michael Malone said that Gallinari (illness) would likely "give it a go" Friday against the Celtics, Chris Dempsey of Altitude Sports reports.

Analysis:

Gallinari was limited in Thursday's practice, but it appears he's mostly overcome his case of vertigo and should be on tap to play Friday. Assuming he endures no setbacks in the hours leading up to tip off, Gallinari should be in line to take back his starting role at small forward and play around 30 minutes. Juancho Hernangomez would move back to the bench and see a significant reduction in playing time as a result.
