Nets' Brook Lopez: Out Friday vs. Dallas
Lopez will not play Friday against the Mavs due to a sprained right ankle.
Analysis:
Lopez sustained the injury during Wednesday's loss to the Hawks, in which he finished with 18 points, six rebounds, three assists and five blocks in 29 minutes. The severity of the sprain is unknown at this time, but the Nets, owners of the NBA's worst record, have no reason to rush Lopez back into action. In his absence, expect to see more of some combination of Trevor Booker, Andrew Nicholson and Justin Hamilton.
