Morris denies he intentionally kicked Plumlee in groin

You'd swear you were watching months-old footage of Draymond Green, but Washington Wizards power forward Markieff Morris denied Wednesday night that he intentionally hoofed Mason Plumlee between the legs during Washington's 123-113 win over the Denver Nuggets.

"I didn't know I kicked him in the nuts," Morris said after his flagrant-2 ejection, according to the Washington Post's Candace Buckner. "I heard the crowd reaction ... (Stuff) happens. It's part of the game."

It may be difficult to believe that Morris' leg accidentally moved upward in that manner, but observers can draw their own conclusions. Morris said Plumlee's body coming in low forced his to go high, according to Buckner.

Plumlee, on the other hand, was pleased with the flagrant call. He said he's been hit in the groin before, "but not that bad."

"That was the most direct hit," he said afterward, according to BSN Denver's Harrison Wind.
