Cavaliers' Tristan Thompson: Grabs 13 boards, swats two shots Monday

Thompson tallied eight points (3-3 FG, 2-4 FT), 13 rebounds, two blocks, and one assist across 36 minutes during Monday's 106-98 loss to the Heat.

Analysis:

It was thought that the arrival of Andrew Bogut could help relieve Thompson of playing 30 to 35 minutes every game, but Bogut broke his leg during his debut, and the Cavaliers are back to square one at the center slot. That being said, Thompson is having one of his best defensive years of his career, and is just two blocks shy of setting a new career high for a season in that category. He should continue to be a force on the boards for the remainder of the season, and his overall fantasy production shouldn't waver much from his season averages.
