Celtics' Al Horford: Out again Monday vs. Clippers

Horford (elbow) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Clippers, Gary Washburn of the Boston Globe reports.

Analysis:

Horford injured the elbow while blocking a shot during Friday's game against the Lakers and he's still dealing with enough lingering pain to keep him on the sidelines Monday. According to Jay King of MassLive.com, coach Brad Stevens said he expects Horford to be back "sooner rather than later", so there's a chance Horford is healthy enough to play come Wednesday's game against the Warriors. With Jonas Jerebko (illness) also sidelined, look for Amir Johnson to move back over to power forward, although a starting center has yet to be announced. Kelly Olynyk is the favorite, while Tyler Zeller could potentially enter the rotation as well.
