Lakers' Julius Randle: Hauls in 12 boards Sunday

Randle provided five points (2-7 FG, 1-2 FT), 12 rebounds, six assists and one steal over 33 minutes in Sunday's 105-97 loss to the Pelicans.

Analysis:

It was a rather unusual game for Randle in terms of usage, as his seven shot attempts were his lowest since Feb. 2. However, the third-year forward salvaged the night for fantasy owners with his fifth double-digit rebound effort in the last six contests, while also providing solid production in the assists category. The muted offensive involvement and resulting single-digit point total can likely be chalked up as an outlier, considering Randle had posted double-digit scoring in eight of the previous nine contests.
