Kings' Tyreke Evans: Out Sunday versus Jazz

Evans will sit out Sunday against the Jazz for rest purposes, Kings sidleline reporter Kayte Christensen reports.

Analysis:

The Kings are entering the front end of a back-to-back set, so Evans, who hasn't topped 27 minutes in any of his five games with the team, will sit out Sunday as Sacramento monitors his workload carefully following multiple knee surgeries over the last few seasons. With Garrett Temple (hamstring) upgraded to probable for Sunday following a month-long absence, it's expected that he'll absorb most of the minutes that had been going to Evans.
