Celtics' Al Horford: Won't play Sunday

Horford is dealing with an elbow sprain and has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Suns.

Analysis:

According to Adam Himmelsbach of The Boston Globe, Horford hurt his elbow while blocking a shot in Friday's win over the Lakers, though it didn't force him to exit the contest. However, it appears some soreness set in after the contest, and the big man could now be at risk of missing multiple games, as Horford said Sunday that he doesn't have a timetable for his return. The Celtics will likely evaluate Horford on a game-to-game basis, but it looks like he could be a risky lineup selection in weekly leagues. Jonas Jerebko is set to enter the starting five at power forward Sunday with Horford out, while Amir Johnson slides over to Horford's usual center spot.
