Nets' Jeremy Lin: Another efficient scoring performance Saturday

Lin tallied 18 points (6-14 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block across 22 minutes in Saturday's 130-116 loss to the Trail Blazers.

Analysis:

Lin still has yet to take on starter-level minutes since returning from a hamstring injury five games ago, but he's been highly efficient in his modest allotment of playing time in two of his last three games. He racked up 17 points in 20 minutes two games ago against the Kings, and after a more muted performance in Friday's loss to the Jazz, Lin bounced back with another quality outing from a per-minute standpoint. It's expected that Lin will gradually see his minutes settle into the 25-to-30-minute range, but the Nets' propensity for getting blown out will always put him at risk for meager workloads. Nonetheless, his high usage rate and strong across-the-board numbers still likely warrant ownership in just about every league.
