Pistons' Ish Smith: Double-double off bench Saturday

Smith scored 11 points (5-8 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-1 FT) while adding 13 assists, four rebounds and a block in 23 minutes off the bench during Saturday's 136-106 win over the 76ers.

Analysis:

Pistons coach Stan Van Gundy toyed with the idea of giving Smith the start over the struggling Reggie Jackson in this one, but even though Smith ended up staying on the second unit he still rewarded anyone who took a chance and added him to their DFS roster. It's the second time in five games he's dished double-digit assists, but also just the second time in those five games he's scored 10 or more points. As long as Jackson remains Detroit's starting point guard, Smith's fantasy value will be limited.
