Bulls' Rajon Rondo: Tweaks ankle Saturday, returns

Rondo turned his right ankle earlier in Saturday's 101-91 loss to the Clippers, but was able to return to the contest, Mike McGraw of the Daily Herald reports.

Analysis:

Rondo had just knocked down a three-pointer when he turned to run back down court and accidentally stepped on the foot of Clippers coach Doc Rivers. He left the game to have his ankle re-taped, but returned shortly thereafter and finished with five points (2-7 FG, 1-1 3Pt), nine assists, four rebounds and three steals in 29 minutes. The Bulls will wait and see how Rondo feels after the contest, but it doesn't look like he's in much danger of missing Monday's game against the Pistons.
