Lakers' Luol Deng: Inactive Friday
Deng (coach's decision) will be inactive for Friday's game against the Celtics, Mark Medina of the Los Angeles Daily News reports.
Analysis:
Deng was dropped from the rotation in Tuesday's game against the Hornets, and it appears he'll be out of the mix for playing time again while coach Luke Walton turns over the small forward spot to youngsters Brandon Ingram and Larry Nance. With the Lakers seemingly embracing full-on rebuild mode, Deng can probably be dropped in just about every league.
