Celtics' Gerald Green: Available Friday

Green (heel) is available to play Friday against the Lakers, Jay King of MassLive.com reports.

Analysis:

Green was able to participate in the team's shootaround earlier Friday, and as expected, the Celtics have cleared him to return from a four-game absence due to the bruised heel. It's not a lock that he'll immediately regain a rotation spot, however, as coach Brad Stevens may be content to roll with Marcus Smart and Jaylen Brown as his primary wings on the second unit.
