Pelicans' Jarrett Jack: Out 4-6 weeks

Jack is expected to miss 4-6 weeks with a torn meniscus, Justin Verrier of ESPN reports.

Analysis:

Jack returned from a 14-month absence following a torn ACL on Feb. 25. He logged 25 minutes in that outing, but only managed eight minutes in his next game played versus the Pistons. The injury presumably occurred in that contest. The veteran guard could potentially miss the remainder of the season, as the team may not want to rush him back for just the last few weeks on the schedule. Jack's absence does not really affect the Pelicans' current rotation, as he did not have enough time on the court to establish his role with the team.
