Mavericks' Wesley Matthews: Ruled out vs. Grizzlies
Matthews (hip) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Grizzlies, Eddie Sefko of The Dallas Morning News reports.
Analysis:
It's the second straight absence for Matthews, who sat out Wednesday's loss to the Hawks to return to Dallas early for further diagnostic testing. Matthews will continue to be evaluated on a day-to-day basis, with his next chance to play coming Sunday against the Thunder. Dorian Finney-Smith could pick up another start at small forward Friday with Matthews out.
