Pacers' Paul George: Falls short with 22 in loss
George provided 22 points (5-18 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 10-10 FT), six rebounds, two assists and one steal across 33 minutes in Wednesday's 100-99 loss to the Spurs.
Analysis:
George lost the All-Star duel to Kawhi Leonard on Wednesday, as George ran ice-cold in the fourth quarter while Leonard went for nine straight points on the way to victory. Although George was a perfect 10-for-10 from the charity stripe, he shot a horrendous 27.7 percent from the field. Although the Pacers are now at full health, they will need better results from their star forward if they want to stay competitive.
