The Cleveland Cavaliers have waived guard Jordan McRae to open up a roster spot to sign center Andrew Bogut, who reportedly committed to signing with the team Tuesday.

Bogut was traded to 76ers prior to this year's trade deadline, before being waived just four days later. The 7-foot Australian is averaging 3 points, 8.3 rebounds, and one block this season.

The Cavaliers have been active since last Thursday's deadline, signing Deron Williams for the remainder of the season after the veteran point guard officially cleared waivers.

McRae appeared in 37 games for Cleveland this season, averaging 4.4 points, 1.1 rebounds, and 0.5 assists on just 38.7 percent from the field.
