Knicks' Kyle O'Quinn: Will start Wednesday

O'Quinn will start at center Wednesday against the Magic, Steve Popper of The Record reports.

Analysis:

As anticipated, O'Quinn will move into the lineup with both Joakim Noah (knee) and Willy Hernangomez (ankle) sidelined. Noah is expected to miss the rest of the season, whereas Hernangomez is being evaluated on a day-to-day basis, so for the time being, O'Quinn's appointment to the starting five looks like it could be short lived. Nonetheless, the 26-year-old could make for a high-risk, but appealing DFS punt-play target in tournaments, as he's shown the ability for putting up big lines when he sees extended minutes. O'Quinn has six double-doubles on his ledger and is averaging 1.4 blocks in just 15.5 minutes per game on the season.
