Knicks' Kyle O'Quinn: Likely to start at center Wednesday

O'Quinn will likely start at center in Wednesday's game against the Magic, Ian Begley of ESPN.com reports.

Analysis:

With Joakim Noah (knee) likely out for the season, Willy Hernangomez is in line to serve as the Knicks' regular starter at center going forward, but the rookie looks like he'll at least miss Wednesday's contest after coming down with an ankle injury of his own. That leaves O'Quinn as the next man up on the depth chart, so assuming he ends up starting at center, he could be in store for a bigger workload. O'Quinn has been solid in eight previous starts this season, averaging 9.8 points, 6.5 rebounds and 1.5 assists across 20.3 minutes in those contests. Starting power forward Kristaps Porzingis is also expected to see ample run at center when O'Quinn is off the floor.
