Kings' Tyreke Evans: Productive off bench in Monday's game

Evans finished with 13 points (5-12 FG, 3-3 3Pt) while adding five rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block across 25 minutes off the bench in Monday's 102-88 loss to the Timberwolves.

Analysis:

With coach Dave Joerger plugging Ty Lawson back into the starting five, Evans served as the Kings' sixth man, and actually picked up three additional minutes from what he received as a starter in Saturday's loss to the Hornets. It's likely that coach Dave Joerger will continue to regularly alter his lineup based on matchups, but Evans should still be in store for a 20-to-28 minute workload most games regardless of how he's deployed. Over his first three contests since being traded back to the Kings, Evans is averaging 13.0 points, 4.7 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.3 three-pointers and 1.0 block in 24.3 minutes per game.
