Jefferson (mouth) has been ruled out for Monday's matchup with the Rockets.

Analysis:

Jefferson underwent an emergency root canal last week and is still dealing with some lingering discomfort, so he'll be held out Monday for added recovery. His next opportunity to take the court will be Wednesday against the Spurs, but in the meantime, look for Myles Turner to potentially see a few added minutes, while Rakeem Christmas could enter the rotation as the team's backup center.
