Bulls' Paul Zipser: Will not play Tuesday

Zipser (ankle) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against the Nuggets, K.C. Johnson of The Chicago Tribune reports.

Analysis:

Zipser will miss his seventh straight game with left ankle tendinitis and doesn't appear to be on the cusp of a return, as he's only been able to go through non-contact portions of practice. So long as he's sidelined, rookie Denzel Valentine, who is averaging 6.5 points, 2.5 boards, 1.8 three-pointers and 1.5 assists in 18.7 minutes per game over the last six outings, should continue to see increased run off the bench.
