Hornets' Briante Weber: Inks 10-day contract with Hornets

Weber signed a 10-day contract with the Hornets on Sunday, Shams Charania of Yahoo! Sports reports.

Analysis:

Weber recently finished off two 10-day contracts with the Warriors, with whom he made seven appearances, but the team wasn't willing to commit to him for the rest of the season. The Hornets will have more of a need for Weber, as Ramon Sessions (knee) is still out for the foreseeable future. Look for Weber to fight with Brian Roberts for the main backup role behind starter Kemba Walker.
