Timberwolves' Andrew Wiggins: Goes off for 30 in Saturday shootout

Wiggins collected 30 points (11-22 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 7-8 FT), two rebounds, two assists and three steals over 37 minutes in Saturday's 142-130 loss to the Rockets.

Analysis:

Wiggins and Karl-Anthony Towns combined for 46 shot attempts in what was a wild shootout, and the former hit the 30-point mark for the fourth time in the last seven games. He also continued his torrid pace from the field, one that's seen him shoot at least 50 percent in seven straight contests. Wiggins' usage rate has now climbed to 33.5 percent with Zach LaVine (knee) off the court this season, and he remains one of the most appealing fantasy options in any format given his production and robust role in the Minnesota offense.
