Hawks' Ersan Ilyasova: Cleans glass, struggles from field Saturday vs. Magic

Ilyasova finished with five points (2-9 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 10 rebounds, and two assists across 25 minutes during Saturday's 105-86 loss to the Magic.

Analysis:

Though Ilyasova is a combined 5-for-16 from the field in his first two outings with his new team, he managed to grab 10 rebounds Saturday, a great improvement over the two boards he pulled down Friday against the Heat. He also saw a solid 25 minutes Saturday, an upgrade from Friday's 16 minute showing, but that may have been in part due to Dwight Howard racking up four fouls prior to halftime. It remains to be seen what Ilyasova's true role with the Hawks will be as coach Mike Budenholzer works to find a rotation that best fits his new roster, so fantasy owners have a tough choice to make on whether to keep or drop Ilyasova.
