76ers' Richaun Holmes: First double-double of the season Friday vs. Wizards

Holmes provided 12 points (6-9 FG, 0-1 3Pt), 10 rebounds, five blocks, two steals, and one assist across 26 minutes during Friday's 120-112 victory over the Wizards.

Analysis:

Holmes had his best game of the season Friday against the Wizards, which marked the first game that the 76ers played without Ersan Ilyasova and Nerlens Noel on the roster, who were dealt to the Hawks and Mavericks respectively. As long as Joel Embiid (knee) is out, Holmes should have a significant role in the 76ers' rotation, considering he and Jahlil Okafor are the only remaining centers on the roster. Holmes can also stretch the floor, making him an option at the power forward, as he's hit 36.4 percent of his three-point attempts this season. While the five blocks and two steals are likely an outlier, he's a capable defender, averaging 1.7 blocks and 1.2 steals per 36 minutes. Holmes may make a risky pickup in year-long fantasy leagues since his minutes are largely dependent on Embiid's health, but he's more than capable of pulling his weight in DFS while his price still reflects that of a bottom-tier player.
