76ers' Robert Covington: Stellar on both sides of ball Friday vs. Wizards

Covington collected 25 points (9-14 FG, 5-9 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 11 rebounds, four steals, and three assists across 39 minutes during Friday's 120-112 victory over the Wizards.

Analysis:

Covington has stepped up his game since Joel Embiid (knee) has been sidelined with an injury, averaging 16.9 points, 7.8 rebounds, 3.0 steals, and 1.0 blocks across 33.3 minutes per game. He may also see increased time as a reserve power forward with Nerlens Noel and Ersan Ilyasova being traded away. Though he's an inconsistent shooter, it's hard to ignore Covington's fantasy value, especially on the defense end, when he's in line for 35-plus minute workloads on a regular basis.
