Pacers' Thaddeus Young: Probable to play Friday vs. Grizzlies

Young (wrist) has been upgraded to probable for Friday's game against the Grizzlies.

Analysis:

Young has missed the last eight games for the Pacers, but it seems the All-Star break has given the forward enough time to recover from his left wrist sprain. He was able to take part in the team's morning shootaround Friday, and though coach Nate McMillan labeled Young a game-time decision at that time, McMillan mentioned that he expected the 28-year-old to play. Young's upgrade to probable certainly suggests he'll be back on the floor Friday, and it's expected that he'll immediately take back his starting role at power forward, pushing Kevin Seraphin back to the bench.
