Lakers' Tyler Ennis: Will not play Friday

Ennis won't play in Friday's game against the Thunder, but is likely to play Sunday against the Spurs, Mike Bresnahan of Spectrum SportsNet reports.

Analysis:

The Lakers acquired Ennis from the Rockets on Thursday in exchange for Marcelo Huertas, but the young point guard won't join the team in Oklahoma City in time for Friday's game. Instead, Ennis will get settled in Los Angeles and take part in practice Saturday before making his team debut Sunday. Ennis finds himself no better than third on the depth chart in his new locale, which means he could be at risk of being left out of the rotation in most games.
