Jazz's Rodney Hood: Will play Friday vs. Bucks

Hood (knee) will play Friday against the Bucks, Jazz radio play-by-play broadcaster David Locke reports.

Analysis:

Hood has missed the past seven contests due to a bone contusion and LCL sprain in his right knee, but after getting some extended time off to recover during the All-Star break and practicing earlier this week, it looks like he's ready to play. The team has yet to reveal whether or not Hood will start or face any sort of minutes restriction in his return, but Joe Ingles, Alec Burks and Joe Johnson will all nonetheless be in store for reduced responsibilities at shooting guard with Hood back in the picture.
