Raptors' Serge Ibaka: Will play Friday vs. Celtics

Ibaka will play in Friday's game against the Celtics, Gary Washburn of The Boston Globe reports.

Analysis:

Ibaka was traded to the Raptors prior to the All-Star break and is finally ready to make his debut after putting in some more practice time with the team earlier in the week. Though the Raptors haven't officially announced as much, Ibaka is expected to start at power forward Friday, but with Patrick Patterson (knee) also expected to play, he could eat into some of the newcomer's minutes against the Celtics.
