Nuggets' Jameer Nelson: Full stat line in Thursday loss

Nelson compiled 12 points (5-9 FG, 2-4 3Pt), six assists, four rebounds and five steals over 29 minutes in Thursday's 116-100 loss to the Kings.

Analysis:

The veteran point guard remained in the starting five to open the second half of the season, once again providing the solid, multi-category production that has come to define the majority of his starting tenure. Emmanuel Mudiay actually received a DNP-Coach's Decision on Thursday, leaving Nelson and rookie Jamal Murray to handle the point guard duties. While it remains to be seen how head coach Mike Malone chooses to deploy his backcourt rotation going forward, Nelson remains a viable option in all formats for the foreseeable future given his starting role.
