Warriors' Draymond Green: Modest showing in Thursday win

Green totaled seven points (2-4 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds, four assists and two steals over 23 minutes in Thursday's 123-113 win over the Clippers.

Analysis:

Green committed a game-high six turnovers and was minimally involved on the offensive end, as Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson did the majority of the heavy lifting. The fifth-year pro has posted six straight single-digit scoring efforts and is averaging a season-low 8.4 points in February. While he's still providing solid returns in rebounds (6.9) and assists (6.0), those numbers also represent his poorest monthly figures in those categories. However, Green has made up for some of the shortfall with an excellent defensive month, as he's averaging a season-best 1.9 blocks and 2.9 steals in February, with the latter figure significantly buoyed by his jaw-dropping 10-steal effort against the Grizzlies on Feb. 10.
