Clippers' Blake Griffin: Struggles with shot Thursday

Griffin supplied just 12 points (3-13 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 5-9 FT), eight assists, five rebounds and one steal over 35 minutes in Thursday's 123-113 loss to the Warriors.

Analysis:

With his shots failing to find the net more often than not Thursday, Griffin turned into the top ball distributor on the Clippers, and has now dished out at least eight dimes in three of the last four games overall. However, his scoring total was his lowest in nine February games, and equaled his poorest showing in that category since his return to action on Jan. 24. Given that he'd shot 40 percent or better in nine straight contests prior to Thursday, the seven-year pro is likely to bounce back against the Spurs in the Clippers' next tilt Friday night.
