Warriors' Kevin Durant: Suffers finger injury, returns Thursday

Durant left Thursday's game after injuring a finger on his left hand, but was able to return and played 34 minutes in a 123-113 win over the Clippers, Connor Letourneau of the San Francisco Chronicle reports. He finished with 25 points (8-15 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 5-6 FT) with 15 rebounds, seven assists, one steal and one blocked shot.

Analysis:

Durant sustained the injury early in the first quarter, but played through it before checking out at his usual time. He went to the locker room where X-rays were negative, then checked back into the game late in the second quarter. The injury does not appear to be an issue heading into Saturday's game against Brooklyn, but we'll see how the finger feels Friday.
