The Golden State Warriors finished the first half against the Los Angeles Clippers Thursday at Oracle Arena with 49 points.

In the third quarter alone, they had 50 (outscored the Clippers 50-26).

It's the third time in the last 20 seasons a team has scored 50 in a quarter, with the last coming back in 2014 when the Los Angeles Lakers faced off with the New York Knicks.

On this night, back-to-back league MVP Stephen Curry hit the magical bucket to get the Warriors to lucky No. 50, hitting a 3-pointer over two outstretched Clippers defenders to give his side a 12-point lead heading into the fourth.

Curry finished the night with 35 points while hitting six of 10 from beyond the arc and the Warriors emerged with the 123-113 victory.
