Knicks' Kristaps Porzingis: Leaves Thursday's game vs. Cavaliers with right ankle sprain
Porzingis exited Thursday's contest against the Cavaliers due to a sprained right ankle.
Analysis:
Porzingis finished with eight points (4-10 FG, 0-4 3Pt), five rebounds, and two blocks across 16 minutes before injuring his ankle. The big man missed four consecutive games earlier in the season due to an Achilles injury and hasn't played up to his usual expectations, averaging 15.2 points on 44.6 percent shooting, 6.2 rebounds, and 1.8 blocks across 30.2 minutes per game since returning. If he's unable to take part in Saturday's contest against the 76ers, Lance Thomas, Kyle O'Quinn, and Mindaugas Kuzminskas will likely all see increased workloads.
