Here's some bad news for folks who were excited to see how Jared Sullinger and Mike Scott fare in Phoenix.

The Suns plan to waive both power forwards before signing guard Ronnie Price for the remainder of the season, reports Doug Haller of azcentral sports.

Ahead of Thursday's trade deadline, the rebuilding Suns acquired Scott from the Atlanta Hawks for cash, while picking up Sullinger and two future picks from the Toronto Raptors in exchange for P.J. Tucker.

Both Sully's and Scott's contracts expire after this season.

Price played for Phoenix in 2015-16, and signed on two 10-day contracts earlier this year. The 33-year-old put up three points in seven minutes over two outings.
