Hawks' Ryan Kelly: Signs with Atlanta for rest of season

Kelly agreed to a multi-year contract with the Hawks on Thursday, Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Analysis:

Kelly previously appeared in nine games for the Hawks earlier this season, but was waived Jan. 7 when the team needed to clear up roster space following the Kyle Korver trade. After Thursday's trade left the Hawks with an open roster spot, Kelly was plucked from the D-League to fill the void, but he's not expected to crack the rotation in his return to the NBA level.
