Hawks trade Mike Scott to Suns

The Atlanta Hawks traded forward Mike Scott to the Phoenix Suns for cash and the draft rights to guard Cenk Akyol, the team announced Thursday.
Scott was a decent option off the bench for the Hawks in recent seasons, but only appeared in 18 games this year while his averages plummeted to 2.5 points per game on 29.3 percent shooting from the field.
The 28-year-old is slated to become an unrestricted free agent this summer.
