Kanter took part in a non-contact practice Wednesday, but team doctors now feel comfortable clearing him for full-contact work. That likely means that Kanter is on the brink of a return, although it remains to be seen if the Thunder will push him back into action as soon as Friday's game against the Lakers. It seems more realistic that Kanter misses a game or two more to ease him back into the swing of things and get his conditioning in order, but another update should be provided after Friday's morning shootaround.
