Pistons' Michael Gbinije: Recalled from D-League

Gbinije was recalled from the D-League's Grand Rapids Drive on Thursday, Rod Beard of The Detroit News reports.

Analysis:

Gbinije will join the Pistons ahead of Thursday's game against the Hornets, but isn't expected to suit up in the contest. Coach Stan Van Gundy stated earlier in the week that Gbinije would likely rejoin the Drive in time for Saturday's tilt with the Rio Grande Valley Vipers, so expect him to be demoted back to the D-League in short order.
