Wizards' Bojan Bogdanovic: Hopeful to play Friday

Bogdanovic could make his Wizards debut Friday against Philadelphia, Candace Buckner of the Washington Post reports.

Analysis:

Bogdanovic was dealt to Washington from Brooklyn on Wednesday afternoon, and the hope is that he'll receive clearance to take the court Friday night, per coach Scott Brooks. Whether or not that happens will be contingent upon Bogdanovic, as well as the other players involved in the deal, passing their respective physicals prior to game-time. Once Bogdanovic is cleared, he's expected to slot into a scoring role off the bench for a Wizards team that ranks 29th in the NBA in bench scoring.
