Hansbrough is being considered for a role in the rotation at the expense of the Pacers' current backup, D.J. Augustin, the Indianapolis Star reports. Indiana head coach Frank Vogel admitted this prior to the Pacers' loss to the Thunder on Sunday.

Replacing Augustin with Hansbrough may not fix the offensive problems on the second unit, but we're at the point where Vogel needs to do something. Augustin himself was a bit better Sunday, scoring four points on 2-of-3 shooting, but he had just one assist and the bench as a whole scored 20 points after being held to 12 points in Friday's loss to Denver.
