Pelicans' Dante Cunningham: Left off injury report for Thursday

Cunningham (personal) isn't listed on the Pelicans injury report heading into Thursday's game against the Rockets.

Analysis:

Cunningham missed the Pelicans' most recent two games while tending to the birth of his child, and after spending the past week with the newborn while the NBA was on the All-Star break, he's since rejoined the team. With the Pelicans acquiring DeMarcus Cousins earlier this week to create an imposing frontcourt tandem with Anthony Davis, Cunningham figures to play almost exclusively at small forward over the final two months of the season, which may result in a downturn in playing time. Along with incumbent starter Solomon Hill, Cunningham will also have to fight for playing time with 10-day signee Hollis Thompson and Omri Casspi, who was a throw-in to the Cousins deal.
