Report: Heat have shopped Ellington, McRoberts

Noah K. Murray / USA TODAY Sports

The Miami Heat could be looking to make some moves.

The team has shopped shooting guard Wayne Ellington and power forward Josh McRoberts, sources told Chris Mannix of The Vertical.

Ellington is averaging 10.9 points, 2 rebounds, and 1.4 assists in 37 games for the Heat, who are just two games back of the eighth seed. He's owed $6.3 million next season.

McRoberts is putting up 4.9 points and 3.4 rebounds per game on just 37.3 percent shooting. The big man has a player option on the remaining year of his deal, which is worth $6 million in 2017-18.

The trade deadline is Thursday at 3 p.m. ET.
