Wizards' Bojan Bogdanovic: Dealt to Wizards

Bogdanovic and Chris McCullough were traded to the Wizards on Wednesday in exchange for Andrew Nicholson, Marcus Thornton and a 2017 first-round pick, Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports reports.

Analysis:

Bogdanovic has started 54 or 55 games for the Nets this season, but he'll likely transition to a reserve role for the Wizards, who were in need of additional scoring off the bench. The 27-year-old is averaging a career-best 14.2 points per game on the season, and is shooting 44 percent from the field and 35.7 percent from beyond the arc on 5.0 attempts per game. Given that starting wings Bradley Beal and Otto Porter are both viewed as long-term assets for the Wizards, Bogdanovic will be hard pressed to reach the 26.9 minutes per game he was averaging for the Nets, and his usage also figures to take a hit while he shares the floor with more talent than what surrounded him in Brooklyn.
