Knicks' Joakim Noah: Ruled out Thursday vs. Cavaliers

Noah (hamstring) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Cavaliers, Ian Begley of ESPN.com reports.

Analysis:

After missing the Knicks' final five games prior to the All-Star break with a strained left hamstring, Noah was expected to return to action after the break, but that's no longer in the cards after he tweaked the hamstring earlier last week. The past week off for recovery didn't provide enough time for Noah to get over the issue, and after he was unable to practice Tuesday, his next chance to play will now come Saturday against the 76ers. The Knicks have already announced that Willy Hernangomez will draw another start at center Thursday, with Kyle O'Quinn serving as his backup.
